Since the regulations concerning Underground Storage Tanks were enacted in 1988 by the EPA, all UST owners must take responsibility to assure that they are in compliance.  The regulations incorporate tank registration, leak detection and spill reporting, and correction of release incidents reinforced by inspections, investigations and fines.  In addition, each State has enacted it's own regulations regarding storage tank management.  Earth Environmental Consultants, Inc. has the knowledge and experience to support our clients in all areas of UST and AST management.

Site Assessments are effective, cost efficient investigations utilizing state-of-the-art technology, soil gas surveys and comprehensive sampling plans. Monitoring Well Placement and Installation services assure detection of problems with monthly monitoring. Cathodic Protection Testing is a way to monitor corrosion on steel tanks and piping and is required every 3 years on both sacrificial anode and impressed current systems.
