A Transaction Screen or Phase I ESA identifies potential environmental risks through a site visit and available site history record search such as historical photographs and maps, land records, environmental databases, and interviews.
In the case a potential environmental hazard is identified, a Phase II ESA may be recommended.
It may involve sampling soil, surface or groundwater for contaminant levels and vertical/horizontal extent. All ESAs are performed per ASTM standards by qualified environmental professionals. If remediation of a site becomes necessary, we can also design/manage mitigation and disposal of contaminated materials.
Specific Service Components May Include:
►Release Investigation
►Initial Abatement Measures
►Monitoring Well Placement and Development
►Soil Vapor Survey
►Periodic Sampling Event Documentation
►Corrective Action Plan Development
