Substation Design
For more than a decade, EEC has held a General Engineering Services contract with American Electric Power Company to provide Civil Engineering Services. During this time, EEC has provided design and permitting services for more than 30 independent Electric Substations. Substations have ranged from greenfield 138kV stations to large scale 765kV redesigns. Employing EEC’s vast experience in civil/site design and wide range of utility company knowledge, EEC has continually provided a superior product while maintaining the highest level of integrity.
Transmission Line Design
EEC provides design and permitting services for more than 20 Electric Transmission Line projects. Transmission line projects have ranged from 34.5kV integrations to 500kV reconductoring. EEC is in active pursuit of the most recent technological advancements in the civil engineering field to redefine the design, permitting, and bidding of large scale transmission line design.
Governmental
EEC holds multiple Term Contracts with several municipalities in and around Southwest Virginia. Our experience with these “on-call” contracts provides the working knowledge necessary to manage multiple concurrent “on-call” task orders.
In addition to term contracts, EEC also works as a sub-consultant on teams serving several VDOT Contracts. Our general engineering services range from attending meetings to complete site design and permitting.
Commercial
EEC has provided countless commercial clients with Site Plan Development and Permitting services. Commercial clients have ranged from retail establishments and restaurants to educational institutions and utility companies.
Private Development
EEC conveys the imagination of private clients, from all walks of life, to reality through our Site Plan Development and Permitting services. Private development projects have included small residential erosion and sediment control plans, on-site sanitary sewer (pump back systems), and subdivision layouts and design backed by large scale private developers. Additional private development projects can vary from custom home site development to extensive retail and shopping centers.
